Terms of Service for the SummarAIzeIT Platform

Welcome to SummarAIzeIT. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and SummarAIzeIT (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the SummarAIzeIT platform (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

The Platform provides an AI-enabled content aggregation and summarization service. With your authorization, the Platform connects to and retrieves newsletters, emails, and publicly available or user-specified web pages (collectively, “Content Sources”), processes the retrieved content using automated systems, and generates summaries, highlights, and recommendations (“Summaries”). You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights and permissions to connect any Content Sources and for any data you submit or make accessible through the Platform.

3. Beta Release

The Platform is currently provided in a beta release. Users acknowledge and accept that the Platform may contain defects, experience interruptions, or result in data loss. While we will use reasonable efforts to minimize such issues, use of the Platform during the beta phase is at the User’s sole risk.

4. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for the Content Sources they connect to the Platform, including but not limited to newsletters, email accounts, and web pages. We do not review, verify, or endorse the accuracy, legality, or reliability of any third-party content retrieved through the Platform. Users assume all risks associated with the selection of Content Sources, as well as any reliance placed on the Summaries generated by the Platform.

5. Account Registration

To access certain features, Users must register and create an account. Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep such information updated. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.

6. Data Protection

We do not sell Users’ personal data to third parties. Certain data that you provide or connect to the Platform may be processed by trusted third-party service providers (such as OpenAI, used for summarization services) solely for the purpose of delivering the Platform’s functionality. We may also collect and retain technical and usage data for operational, security, and fraud prevention purposes. By using the Platform, Users consent to such data processing in accordance with applicable law and our use of third-party services as described in these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We make no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of any content or services provided by Providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SummarAIzeIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or services obtained through it.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party services, including the OpenAI API, to provide summarization and related functionality. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that your content may be processed by such third-party services in order to generate summaries and recommendations. We are not responsible for the operation, security, or availability of third-party services. Users are encouraged to review the terms and privacy policies of such services.

10. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. Users will be notified of material changes via email or by notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if a User violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuses the Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SummarAIzeIT operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
